Permits issued 14 to 16 October

Ten real permits from the City of Austin. Pick your trade to see which jobs will need it.

Real records from the City of Austin, issued 14 to 16 October 2026. Builder phone numbers are cut short here; subscribers get them in full.

Also for insulation and drywall, painting, flooring, windows and doors, landscaping and fencing, pools, and dumpster or equipment rental. Ask about your trade.

    Weeks ahead of the crowd.

A permit is issued before the slab is poured. Framing, roofing and rough-in follow weeks later. That gap is your head start, whatever your trade.

      Questions

Which trades do you cover? Any trade that works on new builds and additions: framing, concrete, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, insulation and drywall, painting, flooring, windows, landscaping and pools, plus suppliers like dumpster and equipment rental. The list and its timing are tuned to your trade.

Where does the information come from? From the building permits the City of Austin publishes every day. We check them each morning, drop repairs and duplicates, and keep the projects that will need your trade.

Isn't this public anyway? It is, spread across thousands of records a month with placeholder values and missing details. We do the reading so you get a short list you can act on before your first coffee.

Is the builder's phone number always there? When the city record has it. Some records are missing a number or have it cut short; then we tell you so and give you the company name to look up.

What do I need to set up? Nothing. It arrives as an email. Reply to it to change your trade or your ZIP codes.

What happens after the free two weeks? If it's useful, you continue at the monthly price. If it isn't, tell us and we stop. There's no contract, and no card is needed for the trial.

What does the founding price mean? The first ten companies to sign up pay $149 a month instead of $199, and that price stays for as long as they remain customers.

Do you cover areas outside Austin? Austin city limits today, with more Texas cities to follow. Tell us where you work and we'll let you know when it's covered.
